Music MinistryJoin together in song, under the talented direction of our choir director. Rehearsals on Tuesday evenings, 7pm in the Choir Loft. Sing at 11:30am Sunday Mass, as your schedule allows. Gatherings are on occasion and announced in the bulletin and in this space when scheduled. For more information, please email womensgroup@parish.org. Babysitting is available. Pro-Life RosaryUnite as a community praying the Rosary for the sanctity of all life from conception until natural death. Meditative hymns are sung, along with the recitation of the Rosary. No experience required. Mentors provided. Contact the coordinators at pro-liferosary@parish.org. If interested in any of these ministries, please contact the Rectory or call 555-555-5555. Eucharistic AdorationThursdays from 9:00AM to 3:00PM from September through April. The Blessed Sacrament is exposed and adored by volunteers who sign up for one hour or more to pray before the Lord Jesus present in the Monstrance. Finance CouncilAdvises the Pastor on financial matters of the parish and school. Responsible for monitoring all income and expenses, and approving the annual budgets. Food BasketsNon perishable foods are collected at the back of the church on the last Sunday of the month and donated to charity. HospitalityA group that serves coffee and pastry on Friday mornings after the 8:30AM Mass. They also help prepare for special occasions such as our 4th of July cookout. A great way to get to know one another is when we share food and conversation. Offertory CountersA group that counts the funds collected at Mass each week. Each group volunteers about once a month. Parish Pastoral CouncilThe PPC is involved in most activities and programs effecting the liturgical and spiritual life of St. Anyone Parish. Protecting God’s ChildrenAll of the clergy, office staff, and every volunteer is required to attend a Virtus—Protecting God’s Children training session, an archdiocese sponsored program which teaches an awareness of those persons and situations which could endanger our children. The state also requires volunteers to submit a yearly CORI form. Senior Altar ServerMen and women who assist at Mass or Funeral masses to enhance the worship of our faith community. Stations of the CrossHeld Friday evenings at 6:30PM in the Chapel during Lent followed by soup and sharing in the Sacred Heart Hall. UsherVolunteers who assist people to their seat if necessary. They also take up the collection. |

Join us for coffee, a light breakfast, socialization, and engaging (no pressure) conversation about our faith in a relaxed environment. Questions? Baptism PreparationPreparing parents for the formation of their child’s faith. Blessed Virgin Mary SodalityA group that fosters devotion to Mary and strives to be a spiritual and financial organization that supports the church and school with its fundraising and functions. Eucharistic MinisterExtraordinary Ministers of Communion who serve the Body and Blood of Christ at Mass and to the sick and homebound. Fellowship CommitteeVolunteers who coordinate social activities and gatherings of parishioners during the year. Flowers and GroundsVolunteers who care for and beautify the grounds and church. GreetersParish volunteers who warmly welcome parishioners as they enter the Church for Mass. LectorReader who proclaim the Scriptures at Mass and other services. Liturgical Linen ServiceResponsible for the preparation and care of the altar linens. This includes the washing and ironing of purificators, corporals, and altar linens. Outreach to HomeboundVolunteer Eucharistic Ministers who bring the Eucharist to registered parishioners who are homebound. Parish CraftersGroup of parish members who make craft items to sell at the school fair. They meet Wednesday evenings in the St. Vincent de Paul Room (downstairs rectory). The money they make goes to help support our St. Vincent de Paul Society. RCIARite of Christian Initiation – preparation of adult candidates for Catholic sacraments. SacristanDuties include preparing the altar for Mass and cleaning the altar following Mass. Soup KitchenProvides hot meals on a monthly basis to the homeless. St. Vincent de Paul SocietyFounded in 1948, the St. Vincent de Paul Society has strived to administer to the poor and needy of the parish. The work of the Vincentians is funded solely by the contributions deposited in the St. Vincent de Paul boxes at the exits of the church. |
